Texans to be Dangerous Again in Madden 11

madden 11 andre johnson houston texans

Over the last few years, the Houston Texans have been slowly emerging as a sleeper team for many Madden gamers. The Texans are loaded with talent on offense with Andre Johnson (98 overall), the speedy Steve Slaton, Matt Schuab, and secret weapon Owen Daniels.  They have a very mediocre offensive line, but who are we kidding? This is Madden. The offensive line matters as much as the new swagger rating.  Look for little Trindon Holiday out of LSU to be an absolute beast on special teams and on screen passes. The 5’5” wide receiver takes his 97 speed and 32 strength (lol) ratings into Madden 11 where he will be one of the most overused backups in the game.

The Texans defense in Madden 11 is built to bring pressure. Led by Mario Williams, Demeco Ryans, and Brian Cushing, the defensive front 7 has big play potential. Unfortunately, with the loss of star cornerback and former first round draft pick Dunta Robinson, a bad secondary becomes even worse and could cause many people to shy away from using the Houston Texans in Madden 2011.

Texans got one of the best Offenses in the league and in madden it’s gonna be so much easier to throw with Schaubs new ratings and my personal favorite his deep throw accuracy.

As a Houstonian, I have always played with the Texans. I just hope the in-seasn play is accurate with the real team. They are going to be a beast on offense. I have been to the Texans open practice and have since Trindon Holliday in those practices. He is going to be killer. Along with Jacoby Jones, the Texans should start every drive at least at their own 45 if not better. I would eve guess 60% of those in the opponent's side of the field.
