Raiders 2010 Season Schedule

raiders

The Raiders 2010 schedule!!! I see them going 10-6, depending on how Jason Campbell performs, I feel the defense has grown and the offense can only get better with the departure of JaMarcus Russell. Will it be another losing season for Oakland or a playoff berth? Surely this is the most talented team in the last few years of the Raiders franchise.

Week – 1 Sun. Sep. 12 at Titans 1:00 PM Loss
This game should be a early test for the Defense, last year when Vince Young came into the lineup Chris Johnson started illuminating defenses with his rushing attack. I see Titans taking this one.

Week – 2 Sun. Sep. 19 vs. Rams 4:05 PM Win
The Rams are rebuilding again with a rookie Quarterback and a lacking defense, but Steven Jackson is still one of the top rushers. I see the Raiders taking this one.

Week – 3 Sun. Sep. 26 at Cardinals 4:15 PM Win
The departure of Kurt Warner leaves a big question; can Leinart carry the load? The question will be answered soon enough. I see the Raiders squeaking by in this one.

Week – 4 Sun. Oct. 03 vs. Texans 4:05 PM Loss
With a high powered Texans offense with Owen Daniels, Andre Johnson, and Matt Schaub leading the way, this should be a good game, I see the Texans taking the edge.

Week – 5 Sun. Oct. 10 vs. Chargers 4:15 PM Loss
AFC West games are always tough regardless of the talent level, they’re usually good hard earned games.
The Chargers have a question mark at Running Back with Ryan Matthews, but I believe he will carry them past the Raiders this week.

Week – 6 Sun. Oct. 17 at 49ers 4:05 PM Win
Big battle of the Bay Oakland vs. San Francisco will have all of California watching. I feel the Raiders will edge this one out.

Week – 7 Sun. Oct. 24 at Broncos 4:15 PM Loss
The Broncos, with the departure of Marshall, will be looking for Demaryius Thomas to fill the void. Broncos will come out on top at Home.

Week – 8 Sun. Oct. 31 vs. Seahawks 4:15 PM Win
The Seahawks are in rebuild mode, I see them falling to the Raiders.

Week – 9 Sun. Nov. 07 vs. Chiefs 4:15 PM Win
Another AFC West battle, Chiefs have some questions on their squad: can Cassel deliver? Raiders should take this game.

Week – 10 BYE
Perfect spot for the bye week.

Week – 11 Sun. Nov. 21 at Steelers 1:00 PM Win
Steelers and Raiders in a classic match up in the gridiron, the question is will Polomalu be healthy and will Roethlisberger be ready? My pick is the Raiders in a close victory.

Week – 12 Sun. Nov. 28 vs. Dolphins 4:05 PM Loss
Miami with the addition of Marshall will have a very physical passing attack. My pick is the Fins in a close game.

Week – 13 Sun. Dec. 05 at Chargers 4:05 PM Win
With the Chargers taking the first matchup, I see the Raiders coming back to take the second game.

Week – 14 Sun. Dec. 12 at Jaguars 1:00 PM Win
With MJD as the Jags’ only offensive weapon, and Garrard at the helm as Quarterback, I don’t see the Jaguars beating the Raiders this year.

Week – 15 Sun. Dec. 19 vs. Broncos 4:15 PM Win
Broncos taking the first game, I feel the Raiders will come back harder at home and overcome. Plus Tebow sucks. (Editor’s note – I wrote this about Tebow just cuz. BWAHAHAHHAA)

Week – 16 Sun. Dec. 26 vs. Colts 4:05 PM Loss
Colts with Peyton Manning are a team to reckon with every year, the Colts should take this.

Week – 17 Sun. Jan. 02 at Chiefs 1:00 PM Win
As the Raiders make a push to the playoffs wildcard or AFC West title, they should take this game.
