Nickel 3-3-5 Will: Sugar 3 Overload – Madden 25 Blitz

sugar 3 overload

The feedback we received on yesterday’s free tip was really awesome so thank you to everyone who had suggestions.  The majority of suggestions involved defense and some sort of blitz with decent coverage behind it.

So today’s tip is just that.  We have the full breakdown below.

Madden 25 Nano Blitz Nickel 3-3-5 Will: Sugar 3 Overload
Playbook: New England Patriots

Formation: Nickel 3-3-5 Will

Setup:

  1. Shift your linebackers to the right
  2. Reblitz your LOLB (on the right side of the screen)
  3. Move your blitzing cornerback in a little bit (see video for positioning)
  4. (Optional) reblitz the LE (on the right side of the screen) for a double B-gap nano
  5. (Optional) Adjust the zone coverages behind the defense.

Madden School Pro Tip: You will sometimes want to leave the whole deep part of the field open once you are confident that your opponent won’t look deep.  I know it sounds nuts, but that is exactly why it works.

The problem I am having in Madden 25….

Setting the hot routes! Mainly the defensive assignments!

The promptness and reply to this question will be the determining factor for me buying the 365 and e-books this year. I’m trying to find the best tutorials this year.

Here is my issue with your tips (specifically this one). While what you are showing does indeed work, you would NEVER have time to go through & set all that up in a real game! If the set up takes more than 5 seconds, you will almost never have time to set it up in a real game. In practice mode you can go through & make 50 changes to 6-7 players & make it look like a great play, but in reality, it is completely useless in a real game where the opponent is not waiting on you to go through and set up everything you need to set up. At max, you have time to make 2 shifts (DL or LB’s) & hot route 2 guys. Even this is a stretch & you won’t generally have time to do that either. Please respond to this as I am very interested in purchasing some tips, etc. I just don’t want to waste my time & money. I can look like a beast in practice mode, but show me a clip of you actually using this in a real game please.
