Madden NFL 17 Jacksonville Jaguars Team Breakdown

The Jacksonville Jaguars are one of the most improved teams in Madden NFL 17.  They had a great draft and picked up some good free agents.

We’ve got the full Jacksonville Jaguars team breakdown for Madden 17 below.

Team: Jacksonville Jaguars

Offensive Strategy: Balance.  The Jaguars have above average players at just about every position on offense but they don’t have a game changing superstar anywhere.  If you keep your offense balanced, it will be extremely hard to stop.

Defensive Strategy: Anything you want.  The Jaguars are a fascinating team.  In Madden 15 and the beginning of Madden 16, they had what was possibly the worst Madden defense in a decade.  In Madden  17, they are one of the most feared defenses in the game.

Telvin Smith and Myles Jack can fly all over the field.  Malik Jackson is a superstar, Dante Fowler Jr. is a pass rusher that has all the skills you’d want in Madden games, and the secondary is scary.  We have the Jaguars down for 11 impact players on defense and we even left out some really good players.

Impact Players: QB Blake Bortles, HB Chris Ivory, WR Allen Robinson, WR Allen Hurns, TE Julius Thomas, LE Dante Fowler Jr., RE Malik Jackson, DT Sen’Derrick Marks, LOLB Telvin Smith, MLB Paul Posluszny, MLB Myles Jack, CB Prince Amukamara, CB Jalen Ramsey, CB Aaron Colvin, FS Tashaun Gipson, SS Johnathan Cyprien

Strengths: Depth.  The Jaguars have good young players all over the field on both offense and defense.

Weaknesses: Lack of superstars.  The Jaguars don’t have anyone that can single-handedly change the game in Madden 17.  They don’t have a guy like Cam Newton, Von Miller, or Richard Sherman.  What they do have, however, is a lot of really good players.

Overview: The Jaguars are widely considered as the best sleeper team in Madden 17.  If you find yourself playing against someone using the Jaguars online, watch out.
