Madden NFL 16 Pittsburgh Steelers Team Breakdown

The Steelers have their strongest Madden team in years.  The offense is one of the best in Madden 16 and their defense has a lot of talent.

The full Steelers team breakdown for Madden 16 can be found below.

Team: Pittsburgh Steelers

Offensive Strategy: Whatever you want.  The Steelers are the only team in Madden 16 to have a top 5 QB, RB, and WR.  This balance makes their offense very hard to stop.  When you add in Martavius Bryant, Heath Miller, and Dri Archer they become one of the best offenses in Madden 16.

Defensive Strategy: Aggressive 3-4.  The Steelers have 4 really good Madden linebackers and 2 good safeties.  Send some blitzes to keep your opponent on their toes.

Impact Players: QB Ben Roethlisberger, HB Le’Veon Bell, HB Dri Archer, WR Antonio Brown, WR Martavis Bryant, TE Heath Miller, LE Cameron Heyward, LOLB Arthur Moats, MLB Lawrence Timmons, MLB Ryan Shazier, CB William Gay, FS Shamarko Thomas, SS Mike Mitchell

Key Newcomers: WR Darrius Heyward-Bey, LOLB Bud Dupree, CB Senquez Golson, WR Sammie Coates

Strengths: Playmakers.  The Steelers have playmakers everywhere.  Le’Veon Bell is one of the best running backs in the game and the passing game is better than it has been in a very long time.  The linebackers have all kinds of potential and the safeties are big hitters.

Weaknesses: Defensive line.  The Steelers usually have a pretty strong defensive line but this year it is fairly weak.  Outside of Cameron Heyward, they don’t have much talent there.

Overview: The Steelers are easily a top 5 team in Madden NFL 16.  They have one of the best offenses in the game and a defense with talent everywhere.

Is Bell suspended the first 2 games in CFM?

It depends on the settings your CFM uses. But there will be a way to make it where he is not.

Arthur Moats is not a newcomer. He was with the team last year.

Heyward-Bey was on the team last year as well.

Regarding the D-line, those who cover the Steelers in the media actually believe their D-Line will be much improved. Their arrow is pointing up. I’d argue it’s at least “average” and not “weak”.

You can expect Tuitt (RE) to get a pretty good stat boost after the pre-season. He will be a stud and long-term might be better than Heyward.

Their corners (before the trade with Philly) were easily their weak spot. Also, Shamarko Thomas may be a great athlete, but he’s proven nothing at SS and is even shorter than Polamalu. And Mike Mitchell was terrible last year.

As far as CFM goes you’ll need an upgrade at K and P more than likely

That secondary is pretty bad and they will have to face Brady, Luck and Manning.
