In yesterday’s tip we went over HB Wham from the Singleback Deuce Close formation. Today we are going over a play that will get to the outside once the defense starts committing to stopping the inside run.

Overview: The famous stretch play in Madden 17 at this point is pretty essential to a good offensive scheme in this madden. This run mixed with the HB Wham is extremely hard to stop because if the opponent commits to the middle the stretch will break to the outside for big yards.
Let’s dig into this play a little deeper.
This is how the play looks right before we snap the ball. Based on the defensive alignment, we choose to run the ball to the left.
You can see right away how big the hole is.
We just follow our blockers and head towards the sideline.
By the time we are finally tackled we have a gain of 20+ yards.
Riddle me this, Is there no longer a fb run out of the full house formation? In 16, you could run with the fb, flip the play without the defense knowing, and run to the other side. Seems like that play is missing from the full house formation in 17. Maybe I’ve just overlooked it?
Over looked I believe the play your looking for comes out of the I formation in a couple play books
