The play we will be going over in today’s free Madden 25 tip can be found in plenty of playbooks and is extremely effective against both man and zone defenses.
The idea behind this play is to overload the middle of the field and essentially confuse your opponent. Check out the video and the breakdown below.
Playbook: Detroit Lions (and around 10 others)
Formation: Gun Snugs Flip
Play: Corner N Go’s
Setup:
- Hot route your X/square receiver and your B/circle receiver to slant routes
Reads:
- Your primary reads are your slot receivers when they break back in toward the middle of the field. They should both get open against man and zone coverage.
- If for some reason they are both covered, one of your receivers on a slant route will be open.
