Need help with creating players!

I finished a season and wanted to create a player or two. I just finished my offseason stuff and went to create a player but can't get him to show up on my franchise... what's up?!?!?

Is there a way to remove players from IR on Franchise Mode on Madden 11? My number 1 and 2 quarterbacks got injured and were to come back from injury within two weeks or so. Being new to this game I placed these two quarterbacks on IR and now their status states that they will be out for season. Can someone help me with this? Can they be removed from IR list? Any help is greatly appreciated!
