What Slide Protect Should Be
Slide Protection Schemes
This is what the offense should be able to do with slide protect but unfortunately we are stuck with nothing but a basic full slide protect which you can see based on this article even that is wrong. This is my biggest issue with Madden's pass protection schemes, its not that you can't call out individual protections because you don't always do that but it is that they say they give us slide protect when they give us a gimicky version of it that doesn't even play right. It does accomplish what they want it too but as you guys can see its not what it should be by any means.

What are the basic principles of dropback pass protection
Not all slide protection schemes but just continues to show how EA needs to do some serious work on protection schemes.

I wish you could tell one to block right or left, and allow others to block normally. That's what they need to do about it.
