ESTABLISHED SIM GROUP - lookn for plyrs who play exclusively SIM (PS3 & X-Box)

The Madden Group!

We are a group of dedicated SIM MAdden players -(Check out the Madden-School SIM Section which i lead/moderate) who became dienchanted with the BS antics from clowns in game rooms - therefore, we developed the Madden Group so that we can avoid game room turkys! We do this by playing exclusively in Online Franchise!

Last season we had over 165 members in our group - We had 7 Online Franchises - all had 32 members (the 4 `main` franchises averaged particpation rates over 75% and finished 2-3 games a week) - We have just retooled our website - and have made sinificant addition that will enhance the Madden experience when playing Online Franchise!

Right now we are `formalizing` everything we did last year - Innovations for this year are:

Standardized Universal SIM Rules across all of our Online Franchises within the Madden Group (this allows you to join multiple Online Franchises but you only have to remeber 1 set of SIM rules!),

A Governing Council that will act as official leaders and ambassadors of our group - The role of the Governing Council initially will be to finalize the initial SIM rules (which will evolve as our experience with the game develops - this means rules will be adjusted and added to as new aspects of the game present themselves) - The Governing Council will help evaluate `new` players to the group (this ensure they are truely SIM players that will be LEGIT and ACTIVE members) and minimum 1 of our Governing Council Members will be Online each evening to handle any issues that arise...

Each Online Franchise has a Dedicated Section on the Website - this will include LG NEWS, TEAM SCOUTING REPORTS, HIGHLIGHTS, TRADE BLOCK, OWNER CONTACT INFO (we have an innovative system that allows players to stay in touch regardless if their opponent is online or not - NO MORE WAITING AROUND TO SEE IF YOUR OPPONENT WILL BE ONLINE!) and a yearly ALL-PRO team voted on by the members of the Online Franchise!

We have both Fantasy Draft and NON-DRAFT Online Franchises - My personal preference (and that of the initial group of players that started this group) is to play in a Fantasy Draft LG... We do recognize that they are plenty of players who prefer NON-DRAFT Online Franchise (the problem is that its EZ to find guys who will play with the `highly rated teams` but its difficult to find players to play with the Buffalo Bills (we have developed a system to help deal with this phenominum - see below)

Equitable system to decide who gets the TOP rated teams (in NON draft LGs) - We are not going to allow the 1st player who HAPPENS to make a post have the highest rated team (or even worse - a commish who builds an Online franchise so that he and his friends can have the best teams!) - the only fair and resonable way to run such a LG is through a lottery system... You can join a NON Draft Online Franchise in 2 ways...
Option 1: Enter the top 12 team lottery (u have 3 of the top 12 teams listed in priority - this means you have 3 chances to be selected) - we base the lottery on these selections - If you fail to be selected via the lottery, you can have a kicker team and if nobody from option 2 has selected that team - you can have that team...
Option 2: The second way to join a NON-DRAFT Online Franchise is a direct selection of the teams rated 13-32 - This form of entering is 1st come 1st serve (on confirmation that u are a SIM, LEGIT and ACTIVE player) - In the end you will have a choice - you can enter a NON DRAFT Online Franchise and gamble on getting a top 10 team or play it safe and select an available team rated 11-32... THIS IS THE MOST EQUITABLE WAY OF DECIDING WHO PLAYS WITH WHAT TEAM AROUND!

Guaranteed to He 32 guys at all initial FANTASY DRAFTS - it is critical for a fantasy online franchise to have 32 players attend the opening draft! If their is a `no-show`(regardless if the team rated all its players) the team selected by the CPU will be sub-standard... Often players will dislike their team and quit the League or play less `active` than if they drafted the team - replacing players with these sub-standard teams is difficult to do... That is why we INSIST THAT ALL MEMBERS MUST ATTEND THE DRAFT - and if they are a `no-show` they are removed and replaced by a player on our `wait list` (who will be standing by ready to take over any team that becomes available)

ALL-FRANCHISE TEAM: At the end of each season... The commish recognize the TOP 5-7 [layers at each osition... The members of the franchise than vote on who should be selected and earn ALL-FRANCHISE status!

Individual Player Ranking System: All reported games to the "game results" area will count towards your individual ranking within the Madden Group... Seeing that every1 that plays in the Madden Group is a dedicated SIM player - we are eligible to use these same game results to form your ranking in the Madden-Schools SIM Players Rankings!!!! This allows you to see how you stack up against other SIM players outside of the Madden Group!!!
