Exclusive Section Bumped to 50 Posts

In the effort to consistently fight off spammers and to make the exclusive section more "exclusive" the minimum posts has been raised to 50. Don't be surprised if it gets raised to 100 in the coming weeks.

We're currently working on the best resolution to take care of the spammers and people who just stop at the specific post count just so they can view the exclusive section.....such as yourself. I see you haven't posted since the middle of December until now only because the post count went up to 50 and you wanted to remain eligible to view it. And I see that you actually post some real tips and legit posts. So why not just keep posting and remain and active member of MS?

It's kind of an incentive for people to post and remain active. But it works both ways cause it's also a person's incentive to spam as well.

The incentive to post should come from discussion about Madden, not the possibility of learning ways to nano and RC. I mean, the mysterious stoppage of posting at the post limit, whatever it may be, is a reflection on that. It's meant to be a reward for posting and being part of the community, I always figured.

Hey mods...why not make the exclusive section invite only...you guys can get together and make a judgement whether or not someone deserves to get in...think that will pretty much eliminate spam....also put in fine print that no questions will be answered on why someone has not been invited yet....those will become annoying questions to deal with lol

This site is making money for somebody high traffic is what you want so you can sell advertising. People logging in and watching football while commenting and discussing Madden is what you want, but turning the site into a us verse them atmosphere would stifle that. The mods seem to do a good job at keeping the spammers at bay IMO. I've only been posting on here for a month, but I've been on the site since August, didn't read the part that said I had to check my email to be able to post. Since I never check my email I never saw it ( lol my own fault). Then I made a new account and have had a blast here talking Madden and football with like minds. Remember user friendly and atmosphere is the key.
