Default Ability to hand off on a pass play?

Quick question, using the Jaguars O playbook as an example. Their singleback, twin TE slot formation has a play called PA Counter Strong. Is it possible while running this play to actually hand off to the HB versus passing? I'm thinking no, but wanted to check with the experts.

It's not, but it's definitely one of the more believable play fakes. I'd use plays like that against players that like to stop the run with their safeties.

No, you can't hand it off on that play. But, I think you can hand it off on PA Read plays like in the Washington playbook.

Thanks for the responses, Rocker, I'll have to doink around with the Washington PB. That would be a sweet enhancement on M14, sort of like the read option, but the read within the play would be pass vs. run, without having to audible the play.

It would be a sick play, really hard to stop. This is what the packers do in real life, and other teams probably do it as well. On one half of the field, they do a run play, and other side does a pass play. Then Rodgers makes the final decision on what to do.
