Yeah, as was alluded to previously...a spy takes someone off the line or out of coverage. If that's the route the defense goes, hang out in the pocket because you will have openings to throw.

RG3 is one of my favorite QBs in Madden this year, he makes some crazy throws out there. Ive never really ran with my QBs in the past, but ive began to scramble this year a bit. Also, there are ways you can beat spies, you just have to out juke them

To have success with mobile qbs, you need to pass with your qb and run with your running back to get them to stop using the qb spy. Then you can roll out and have the choice to run or pass. Also, designed qb runs work well since you have blockers that will run block for you.
Are you running the read option or are you just scrambling? I find design runs usually with options or the qb power from carolina are successful with many of the mobile qbs in the game.
Once you learn to beat spies, you win with a mobile QB. Not to mention you can run the Read Option, QB keepers, etc. etc. while still pocket passing and the defense is forced to pull someone out of coverage or out of rushing to put into a spy.
I'd say they're FAR from useless.
lol. spys are easy to outrun and on option plays u cant fumble...i would say they are pretty usefull especially if u are a pass first guy
Haha...I really havent fumbled on an ootion yet...but why doesnt my triple option work?
