New Guy Having problems against Ravens
I use the Texans with the Lions playbook. The guy in my league uses the Ravens with the Multiple D PB. He just sits in zones on me with Ed Reed dropping back deep and Ray Lewis spying the middle and I swear I can't get any of my WR open. Doesn't matter which routes I run. I've tried slants, outs, ins, and streaks. Nothing gets open. And I can't run outside at all. Any ideas? We play All Madden BTW.

Pretty much nothing is gonna be open against zone all by itself. It's all about route combos. Try to work in some flood concepts on the sidelines (basically 3 players at different vertical levels -- more players in the area than they have defenders). You can work in some high-low Flanker Drive sort of concepts. Curl flats is a basic route combo that can be tough to defend if you recognize the corners are playing off. Also read the safeties to understand how many are playing deep. Try to user catch outside with big bodies if you get a 3 deep look because you'll be able to create a 1 on 1. Zones are also weak against streaks in the seams. In general, streaks are important to scheme around to create 1 on 1s and put pressure on the safeties. 5 yard in routes to a TE or slot receiver are often a good check down to get underneath hook zones.
That's a lot of info kind of jammed into one short paragraph so let me know if you have questions.

Can O hot route into a flanker drive? And Ed Reed is so frigging good on this game that it's hard to win 1 on 1s. Not to mention this guy plays bump on all my WR at the line.
