    Default NE Patriot Gurus needed!

For those of you who are GOOD with the patriots and THEIR playbook can you help me out...I like to shotgun no huddle with short passes that depend on YAC just like the pats do in real life. Can you guys shares your schemes , plays , audibles to have , how to effectivley run this style? That would be awesome. Again please only help if you know some good stuff. Thanks in advance guys.

my tip is a redzone with in 8 yards play...

Formation - Shotgun Pats Wing TE

    Play - PA Pats Corner

This play will destroy man coverage because of the whip and in and out route run by the left slot WR and the TE.

What makes this a good redzone play is my adjustment to it....

    Adjustments and Reads...

    1. If you have the luxury of having a tall WR who can jump, sub him in at the WR on the right side of the screen. Normally this is your #1 WR spot.

    2. Audible his route to a fade route.

    3. Audible the HB to block, the PA is unnecessary

    4. First read would be your fade route, if he gets a clean release, lob it up

    5. second read would be the TE, because his whip route happens rather quickly.

    6. 3rd read would be the slot WR, because he runs a drag and then basically whips back out towards the flats and it takes a bit of time, not to much, but that is why it is great as a 3rd read.

    7. Your final read if necessary would be your Far left split WR who is running a corner route, but that takes a while to develope since he is running in at an angle for about 12 yards and then towards the corner.

All i have to say is DBL Cross.....Then check your audibles for DBL cross. Pick then screen play, then sometimes dont pick the screen play. Ive perfecte that play and i'll kill any defense with it. Dont get mad if i pass 98% of the time. Its only because i can. You can blitz all you want. DBL cross will kill you. Unless if i have a blonde moment and i dont know you're blitzing.

But be careful. Pressure from the CB positions on either sides will kill this play.Unless you have a fast QB. For example. Test it again the steelers Smash Zone Blitz. Two purples take away the TE running a deep post and then youre forced to reach before the CB gets there.

What? This is a red zone play it is bang bang....

CB blitz should have no effect, plus you have a running back blocking in the back field.

If the corner blitz, then your TE whip route and the fade route will be wide open??? or am I missing something

The beauty of this play is that if they commit to stopping the fade, they will have no one underneath to play the flats....so if CB blitz then they are really screwed....or am I just way off my rocker...I don't know.

My point is, in this defense play, they only think they can get off is a fade route with a tall WR..probably GRON.

Slot screen out of the gun is great vs zone, and it's the quick pass audible out of that formation.

    Ok let's see...

    Singleback ----

Jumbo Ace Pair, has 3 TE's to one side

Duece TE - both of the TE's are off the LOS so there is great possibilities in this formation

Singleback Pats Doubles...this has the fake pass HB draw which is a great play.

Strong Twins is a good formation

There's a play in the deuce wings single back that motions the tight end across and snaps the ball, and he runs straight into the flat, great possibilities, and that route is good with Hernandez
