need helping beating quarters coverage
i just joined this forum and im hoping someone can help me out dealing with facing the quarters defense...
my problems occur when my money plays are working and my opponent switches into a quarter, i cant run the ball consistently against it and my money plays get shut down, does anyone have any money plays or tips that i could use against quarters, if so id appreciate the help

You need to throw out your money plays...
You need to learn to read the coverage and throw to the open guy...
Money plays don't really exist in my opinion...

Post is too vague. Man zone what's going on? The only advice I can give is practice mode. Be prepared for everything.

Simplest thing to do is run a curl with outside reciever on the same side you have a RB running a route in the flats. Wait for the buzz zone to suck down on the RB and the curl route will be wide open.

As Jack said if you are just running money plays then you need to start over. You need to first understand why those plays are working and what they work against to begin with as well as learning to read coverages as well as learning the various route combinations that beat those coverages.

It should just be money formations, because most of what people do is just start hot routing out of a formation until they form a money play. Originally Posted by baller7345
