Default Is using a fast QB considered cheezy?

I run with the panthers and am in 5 wide set empty backfield and cam new constantly gets around 10 carries for 100 yards and people say its cheezy. I don't even drop back far or leave the pocket to be honest just run when the play breaks down. Thoughts?

Anything people can't stop or understand is considered "cheese" now a days. Play the game the way you wanna play and let them deal with it. That's kind of how I play when I use the Eagles I just drop back go through my reads and if the play breaks down or I see he's dropping D-lineman I'll take off for a few. I don't consider it "cheesy".

I tend to agree, if you're getting 100yds with Eli that's one thing but Cam Newton or Vick make sense

I think it is if you are just snap the ball and take off with the qb every play because the defense doesnt react until you cross the los but if your running after a play has broken down then your opponent really cant complain about it

Cheesy is a word created by players who think they are "Sim".

Almost everything is cheesy...the list goes on and on

Cheese to a Sim baller is the following:

    -Hurry Up Offense
    -User Catching
    -Throwing a slant out pass
-Using your Tight End in the passing game
-Manually jamming a receiver or tight end
-Adjusting more than 3 guys on defense
    - Running a successful play 2 times in a row
-Going for it on 4th down even if its around the opposing teams 35 where its hard to make a FG.
    - Running with the QB because ur opponent decided to drop is DE's in zone

Everything is freakon Cheese...Everything!!! U see almost all of these things on Sundays. In fact, this year I've seen more and more teams go for it on 4th down. I see Stafford force throws to Calvin Johnson and Calvin outjumping 2 DBs for the ball. I seen Eli pass the ball almost 60 times in a game. Nebraska back in the 90s use to run the veer option over and over until u stopped it. So people need to stop crying. Either be a copycat or make adjustments. Even in the real life NFL, Defenders are making adjustments to all the new rules changes.

Damn...that means the broncos been cheesing everybody this year...makes no sense...they do it in college all the time and it looks like the NFL is going in that direction as well...

@thread maker...keep doing you...nothing wrong with it at all...it only takes user skill to stop it...

There are ways to stop a QB from running and if your opponents don't want to adjust that's not your fault...The only thing i think is cheesy is shake blitzing but that's another story

They never heard of QB spy????

Taking off with an athletic (or not athletic) QB when there is no one open is just as much a part of the game as throwing the ball away. The only thing I think semi-related that is pretty g@y is when you just take off with the QB on EVERY SINGLE PLAY. But that doesn't even have any benefit to the users who do that.
