Strong Close Money Play

Another one of my favorite plays out of Strong Close is Y Trail -- WR crosses and clears out the middle. TE follows behind and is usually open. Also have fullback out in the right flat if the middle of the field is clogged.

Yup, that is in one of my many schemes.

I have been a strong close guy for two seasons on both NCAA and Madden and agree it is the best balanced set in the game. The Off Tackle play (madden 10 best play, madden 11 solid) is not very effective this year but the formation is still killer. The y-trail plays work and are in other formations now as well. I am a raider fan though and no more zach miller sucks though. The HB Screen play isn't as deadly as last year either, LBers get like speed demon speed when they are running out to cover a HB in the flat.

The HB Dive weak in my opinion is an important play to run occassionaly to make sure they aren't just focusing on the still deadly quick toss.
