    Default Good offensive/defensive team

Hi all, I am looking for a good all around team.

My characteristics I am looking for is:

A team that has an above average defense that can prevent a TD every once in a while

On the offensive side of the ball, a RB that is decent and DOESNT fumble often

I like the run game, but also need a reliable right handed QB, cannot do lefties

Some teams I have played around with but not sure if they are "my team" are: pats, giants, falcons, steelers, ravens, 49ers, texans

Need some advice, if you have a team in mind, can you describe why you recommend using them?

    Thanks!!!

You pretty much named all the teams that have what you are looking for. Also, I like to play w/ Dallas. Murray is a good RB since the updates

There are a handful of teams I think are good in this game, but choosing a team depends heavily on how you play. I always say "scheme before team." Some teams don't have good press corners, some teams don't have tall WRs, some teams don't have athletic TEs, some teams don't have a mobile QB, etc. I know that's obvious but I bring that up because some people don't care about having press corners or whatever. There will be a compromise so you need to determine what you value more specifically imo. In my offense, I look for big bodies on the outside, speed guys in the slots, a receiving threat RB, and a solid QB. The Bears fit my scheme perfectly, so they're my team even though I wouldn't by any means call them the best all-around.

The Bears and Panthers are a couple teams that might fit your criteria nicely depending on what else you want. The Saints and Packers are great teams but don't necessarily go along with your want for an elite RB. Starks/Saine and Sproles/Ingram can get the job done imo, but I'm a very pass heavy player. I've seen BenJarvus Green-Ellis fumble multiple times in one game though so I don't personally buy into the carry rating, especially on user strips.

There's some food for thought. Let me know if you have questions and I'll try to help.

I think I might give the bears a try, based on what I am looking for

Their D is probably solid, and QB is good, forte pretty reliable

BTW, my scheme is a run on 1st down, run on 2nd, pass on 3rd if needed

My question regarding the bears, how come their rating is so low?

What is the overall, like a 78? I think low 80s might be more appropriate but anyway don't look at the team overall rating. It doesn't mean a whole lot. Last year the Raiders were a 75 or something and almost everyone thought they were the best team in the game because of how speed was so dominant. This year the Panthers are pretty popular because they have a great offense and a lot of speed, size, and hit power on their defense. In general (with both teams and individual players) overall rating in Madden doesn't necessarily translate to the gameplay. Ramses Barden on the Giants is one of the best WRs on the game even though he's like a 65 overall and had nothing to do with their Super Bowl run. He's 6'6" with mid 80s catch in traffic and mid 90s jumping...that's all a Madden WR needs lol.
