exactly, what is the point of a cover ball button? Useless. Also, Make attributes count, i got 99 Carry i shouldn't fumble at all, and this can go for so many other things as well...

also the guy who said risk and reward very true, same how they did with the hit stick, but half the time the hitstick won't even work even with proper timing.

I don't understand how EA can't fix these basic parts of the game. Then fix franchise/ add depth. Little nuisances like the hot/cold is a waste, or different camera angles/presentation. Nobody really cares about that except to get awesome inital reviews because we all know reviewers of madden are the best that play. Most of us want to see clean gameplay that isn't glitchy, nor have stupid things happen to us. This is why so many games of their first respective generation are so good IE COD 4. Stop adding bull shit and refine the basics.

If they are gang tackled by 7 guys and they are all stripping yeah it happens (Charles tillman). But that rarely ever happens.

First fucking franchise game I ever play a couple of nights ago I whipped ass in, but after halftime I had 5 fumbles, he was the Texans and Mario Willams, Brooks Reed, and JJ Watt all had strips Reed and Watts has 2 each with that hit power they had, I hold the freaking cover up button when I mean who isn't going to when you see the guy running at you with the full chicken wing ready to rip the ball out and all you can do is sit there and watch it get stripped the fuck out. I mean I held this guy to 90 passing yards and Foster had 37 yards running but it hard to overcome 5 fucking fumbles

I actually like the strip the way it is. I guess it could be toned down a little bit, but the way I see it, there are so many cheesy exploits that people constantly take advantage of on offense, and this is really the only helpful tool that is on defense, yet people complain about it. Like God forbid the defenses have something to fight back with. Offenses are already difficult enough to stop as it is.

Having a button where the RB can automatically immediately be down is stupid, because in real life gang tacklers hold the guy up to attempt a strip. One guy's will to hit the ground does not overcome that of four 6'4" 250 linebackers.

    No.

Anyway...I co-sign this. Fumbles are out of control on this game. I joined a Franchise in Season 3 and am using LeShoure as my HB, 99 carry, and he fumbles 3 games in a row. In my opinion someone with 99 carry should never fumble. Ever. Ever ever.

Some1 that hasnt played a down should not have 99 carrying. And every back can fumble pull at the ball enough it will come out.

I think they can keep the strip button BUTTT, if someone is just going for a strip and it doesnt succeed, the offensive player should be able to run thru it...shoulldnt be awarded with the tackle as well...

What, suddenly trash glitch nanos don't exist? If only that were the case...

Why have one action that counters another action, if said counter doesn't actually do what is intended? Also, are you on the realism or gameplay side of "leave it the way it is"? Because regardless of which side you are on, the current situation is indefensible (madden has a higher fumble rate than reality by a decent margin).

Missing an understanding of the NFL rules, are we :)? I'm saying the player should declare himself down. Not that he has to actually fall down. Instant play over.
