My accuracy went up by double digits after I stopped using pass lead. When you pass lead on a deep bomb you overthrow the receiver 9 times out of 10.
Good riddance
I find pass lead works best to lead the receiver inside or outside of the defender.
It don't work with no Colt McCoy or Christian Ponder if that's what you're saying..
Def dont work alot with Pryor but I mostly use the lead on TE streaks when a defender is ahead of him, i either throw it inside or outside of him, maybe throw it low. What i wanna know is if there's any connection between how much you push the stick in a direction to how much the pass will be lead
I use it all the time to throw over LBs not named Clay Mathews or Patrick Willis.
Only the top elite accuracy QBs can do it, and then only at those ranges they're around 90 or preferably more in accuracy.
Nothing is more annoying than having a fairly good QB like Eli Manning, Vick, etc and missing on 5 yard out route because you need to lead it to get it past a linebacker that is 10 speed slower than the slot WR...and missing the throw by 3+ yards out of bounds. Cmon game. That isn't realistic nor is it good for gameplay. I, in real life, can hit throws that only travel 10-15 yards pretty reliably...are you telling me Eli Manning can't? I won't believe that for a second. That throw should be missed MAYBE 1 in 100 times even if you lead it with most QB, not 1/2 or 1/3.
I seem to have a problem where I use pass lead and they throw it opposite of where I pass led it, and that is always a pick, for obvious reasons.
Is this the reason when I have a WR open Romo throws it 10 yds out of bounds
