Turning the Redskins into a top 5 defense

if they had even a decent qb i would use them. ive always wanted to try them out but i just could never do it, tim tebow is by far the worst qb ive used in the game, he just misses the easiest passes consistently. and i always figured grossman to be the same way

The Redskins defense as it is right now is probably top 5 in the game. It's their offense that holds them back.

Actually, here's my top 5 defenses in Madden in no particular order

HOU
NYG

Green-Bay, Panthers, etc are clearly a top 5 ranked defense in the game.

I'd start Perry Riley over Keyaron Fox.

-81 strength
-95 tackle
-91 hit power
-93 block shed

I use Riley as the 2nd MLB, and he gets more plays in my preferred formation when I sub him in for a DB.
Riley was like Helu, you see those guys get better in real life and better in the game, almost every week those two shot up.

GB has no SS and horrible ROLB and beyond Sam Shields there's no depth at CB.

Panthers have no DT's and their corners are short and slow.

should the giants be on the bottom of that list? not trying to argue with you because its your opinion but seriously boley is decent so is goff and williams ...webster thomas ross prince good secondary not the best but good and we dont even have to talk about the DL....sorry if your list wasnt in any particular order


forgot to add phillips is one of the best safeties in the game and Rolle/Grant are meh

idk if its the ppl i play (probably) or im just a boss because if i put jpp at rolb and if i user osi at re....1 of them is in the backfield every play and the ppl just stop going that way for the rest of the game....i think if ur DL is that good having just a decent secondary is ok

Morgan Burnett is a great safety, and because of his height and zone. Nick Collins is also beast. You have Tramon Williams, Charles Woodson, and Sam Shields, I don't know why you would need any cornerbacks beyond that.

Panthers are great at safety, Chris Gamble is one of the best corners in the game, yeah Munnerlyn is a down-side but he has good press, and I'm sure if you're good enough you can adjust. 2nd best starting linebacker duo in the game. You have Charles Johnson at D-Line, and put Applewhite in at D-Line.

They're both top defenses.

On paper Carolina LOOKS like they have a top defense but as a Panther user I can say there defense is sub-par.
Captain Munnerlyn is horrible maybe the worst starting CB in the game. They can't stop the run at all. There LB's are below avg at block shedding and they take terrible angles in pursuit
