Stop Dive Catch?

This kid just throws deep balls and holds X to make a diving catch EVERY TIME. What can I do other than have like 8 deep?

Keep a safety over the top.Also try to swat it.

Really the only trouble ive had with the dive catch is when someone bumps into me a little bit right before im trying to dive , Ive quit playing so much but ive been working on a play and in practice even with 3 guys on me i can get this most of the time 65 yards down field unless i get bumped a little bit ....

I would love to know how you time/throw the ball for those diving catches I can't get it consistently guess I need to practice more damn it

I got a few including 1 to finley in double coverage in a tourney last week against govols.

dont they only work if your wr gets by the db i dont know if it works if he is behind you

this is a joke right? you cant stop him from dive catching? User the CB and pick that thing off dude...

Strafe, get in front of the ball and press Y. Get slightly in front of the catch circl so he wont be able to catch it in front of you.

It's pretty much impossible to catch. I see Calvin Johnson doing it all the time. I play with the Packers and when I'm in the red zone and I run a slant with Jennings he does it automatically as I throw it. I think it's all in the AI.
