Eagles users beware!

My dominance over this team continues after turnover filled 10-3 win tonight.

I haven't lost to the Eagles in 6 weeks, and only once in the last 3 months, it's becoming startling how I'm able to beat one of the toughest offenses in the game again and again.

My "base" defense against the Eagles is Dime Strike 2 Deep (edge rush and spy line of choice) this keeps Vick in the pocket and doesn't allow him to get away. I've been running my usual run blitzes against them nothing fancy there, but held this last guy to just 36 yards on the ground. 177 through the air. Another thing I'm doing is constantly changing my formations, their packages and my looks, very important for ANY defense to be effective. Another Blitz I used at big moments in the game was Nickel 1-5-5 Overstorm Brave because it plays the WR and Hb screens he was running...

In the Red Zone I am finding that "fag" D with qb spys and containment leave too tight of windows for most Vic users to fit it in there, after I brought that look I was ready to counter the wr screen that would have destroyed my last defense, screen passes have historically been a headache for me as I love to get after you, if you're not hit before or at least as you throw, I'm not satisfied, that kind of defensive mentality. So screens have burned me BAD at times bur it's an area of my game I'm improving, anticipating the screen pre play and during if in the wrong defense. I've seen improvements at this but I still get caught blitzing the qb hard and that screen hurts.

Shutting down the Eagles offense starts with keeping Vic in the pocket, and shutting down McCoy

On the Offensive side Run Run RUN!!! Expose their weak linebackers by running it right at them. I never have an Eagles game where Turner has fewer than 20 carries. And in games where he has 30 carries or more against the Eagles I always win.
