EA Sports hasn’t officially announced the release date for Madden 18, but since we have been covering Madden NFL games for the past 10 years, we have a good idea of when to expect this year’s game.
Here are the release dates for Madden the last few years:
- Madden 17 – August 23rd, 2016
- Madden 16 – August 25th, 2015
- Madden 15 – August 26th, 2014
- Madden 25 – August 27th, 2013
Notice the trend? The smart money is that Madden 18 will release on Tuesday, August 22nd, 2017 but there is an outside chance that the release date could also end up being the following Tuesday, August 29th, 2017.
Madden 18 is using a new Frostbite engine which is a major update so the extra week could come in handy for EA Sports to develop the game.
When we get official word from EA on the release date for Madden NFL 18, we will be the first to pass it along.
