Madden 11 Tips- HB Off Tackle

Today we bring you a tip out of the STL Playbook in Madden 11. This play needs no adjustments and will have you picking up chunks of yardage on the ground. The strong flex formation is rarely used but it contains some very good runs such as the one in the video below:

Play: Strong Flex- HB Off Tackle

Setup: (Optional) Slide protect whichever way you like best

Reads: Just follow your blockers and cut it up field

Overview: You should get a solid 5-7 yard gain every time you run this play. Don’t overuser it because it can be stopped if your opponent knows that it is coming.

Formation: Singleback Bunch

Play: Seattle

Setup: Motion your outside wide receiver in the bunch out to the right

Reads:

Against zone defense quick pass to the receiver that you motioned out to the sideline
Against man defense, quick pass to the Y/Triangle Receiver or wait and pass to the A/X Receiver

This play is straight out of our Madden 11 Denver Offensive eBook. Below we included the basic setup of the play so you can test out out for yourself:

Play: Bronco Heavy- PA Jet Sweep
Setup: Put your fastest wide receiver at WR#1, put your fastest qb in
Snap the ball and run to the right. If the defenders pusue you, throw the ball to your receiver and run up field for a big gain.

4 Man Nano in Madden 11

Concept discovered and founded by Big Game James (Professional Madden Gamer)

Formation: 3-4 Solid

Play: 2 Man Under

Setup:

Hot route your MLB (Or anyone else you want to blitz) to a QB Spy
Blitz your defensive lineman straight down
Simply user the player that you have in a qb spy and run through the line for an easy sack

Notice that only 4 defenders are rushing the qb and you have 7 in coverage. You can use this technique with a lot of different defensive formations. Test it out for yourself and let us know what you think.
